McDonald's chooses Moovit as strategic partner for Local Marketing 2023

T-Local, Triboo Group's team dedicated to Local Marketing activities, has closed in partnership with OMD an always-on positioning agreement with the McDonald's brand on Moovit
McDonald's, under the guidance of OMD, one of the most important media centers in the Italian scenario, has decided to include within its digital communication strategy an innovative tool that responds to the brand's needs in terms of drive to store and traffic in app: McDonald's will be live throughout 2023 in an always on mode on Moovit, a leading application in urban mobility, of which Triboo is the exclusive dealer for Italy.
The agreement includes the mapping of McDonald's restaurant network (more than 600) with an innovative native format: the McDonald's logo will be an integral part of the Moovit map, clickable and with different call-to-action possibilities, from direct drive to store to click to App. In addition to pins on map, a mix of mobile display formats are being planned, which will allow the brand to convey ad hoc creative, depending on active offers.
MOOVIT technology, based on geolocation of users, allows companies to reach potential customers on the move. In fact, all formats are delivered by hitting the target audience when they are near the brand's outlets. Creativity is enriched with an extremely relevant information for users, namely the time distance to reach the store and take advantage of the in-store promotion.

"The Moovit app enables businesses to reach users at the best time: when they are waiting for a vehicle at a stop or moving to a destination. Providing people with their bus wait time and distance to a McDonald's store means improving their all-around mobility experience, for example by allowing them to take advantage of the time they are waiting for a break," added Samuel Sed Piazza, European Director of the Moovit app.
